Free Art Friday is a platform for the promotion of local artists. Starting on the first Friday of May 2018, an image will be posted giving a hint to the whereabouts of a piece of artwork hidden somewhere in the city. The artwork is free to be taken by the finder so long as a photo is shared on social media tagging the artist and #freeartfridaybrighton.
The project aims to allow artists to engage the public directly and make their be artwork see. All forms of art are welcomed so long as you have a physical piece to give; from fine art to photography to music.
